Hi, I’m Shannon Anderson.

II’m a creative strategist working at the intersection of design, storytelling, and communication. My work focuses on creating visuals that not only look compelling, but also carry meaning and connect deeply with communities. I collaborate with nonprofits and mission-driven organizations to develop thoughtful creative work ranging from custom illustrations and photography to social media campaigns and full visual identity direction. I’m especially interested in using art and design as tools for accessibility, advocacy, and public engagement.

Currently, I serve as the Communications and Development Coordinator for Orleans Public Defenders, where I help shape the organization’s visual communication, community outreach, fundraising materials, and storytelling efforts. Through this role, I’ve developed a strong understanding of how design can support real people, amplify important narratives, and strengthen connections between organizations and the communities they serve.

Outside of my professional work, I run a small but mighty sticker business called Social Justickers. I hand-letter and design each piece myself, creating work rooted in culture, humor, social justice, and everyday life. My stickers are sold at local art markets and on Etsy, allowing me to connect directly with people through accessible art and creative expression.

Design is how you’re introduced. Communication is how you’re remembered

I take what you’ve built and shape it into a visual identity that resonates beyond first impressions. With the right strategy behind it, your work doesn’t just show up, it leaves a mark and grows with purpose.

I work with people and organizations grounded in human rights and justice. This isn’t just design, it’s part of a larger effort to build a world that is more just, more equitable, and impossible to ignore.
